BYD is preparing to launch its biggest UK sales event to date, with a range of finance offers covering its growing line-up of electric and plug-in hybrid models.
Running from 10 to 21 September, the nationwide event will include the new BYD DOLPHIN G DM-i, which officially launches in the UK this month and will be available from £250 per month.
The entry-level DOLPHIN G DM-i Active is being offered with a £1,999 customer deposit and 1.9% APR, giving buyers another relatively affordable route into BYD’s expanding DM-i plug-in hybrid range.

ATTO 2 DM-i and SEAL U DM-i offers
The recently introduced BYD ATTO 2 DM-i is also included in the September promotion. The Active version will be available from £274 per month with a £1,999 customer deposit and 0.9% APR.
Moving up to the ATTO 2 DM-i Boost increases the monthly payment to £284, with the finance package offered at 0% APR.
For buyers looking for a larger plug-in hybrid SUV, the BYD SEAL U DM-i is available from £349 per month with a £1,999 customer deposit and 0% APR.
The SEAL U DM-i has become one of BYD’s strongest-performing models in Britain and forms an important part of the manufacturer’s growing plug-in hybrid presence.
Steve Beattie, Deputy Country Manager at BYD UK, said September remains an important period for the British new-car market and that the company intends to make this year’s sales event its biggest yet.
He added that BYD’s increasingly broad range now gives customers a choice of everything from smaller cars and practical hatchbacks to SUVs, with both fully electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains available.
BYD passes 110,000 UK registrations
The sales event comes as BYD continues its rapid expansion in the UK.
Since entering the British passenger car market in March 2023, the company has registered more than 110,000 vehicles, reaching the landmark in just over three years.
Its UK range has also expanded considerably. Having started with a single model, BYD now offers vehicles across a growing number of segments, including compact cars, family SUVs, estates and saloons.
The company has also been broadening its DM-i plug-in hybrid range as it looks to attract customers who want electrified driving without making the move to a fully electric vehicle.
When does the BYD September sales event start?
BYD’s sales event will run from 10 September until 21 September 2026, with the offers available through participating retailers across the UK and subject to the relevant finance terms and conditions.
