DENZA Z Steals the Spotlight
The headline act came from premium marque DENZA, which chose Goodwood for the global debut of the Z Coupe and Z Racing variants alongside the previously revealed Z Spider.
Penned by Global Head of Design Wolfgang Egger, the sleek 2+2 sports cars combine dramatic styling with astonishing electric performance.

The more extreme DENZA Z Racing raises the bar even further.

FLASH Charging Impresses Festival Visitors
Another major attraction was BYD’s revolutionary FLASH Charging technology.

As the only plug-in hybrid supermini currently available, it combines BYD’s Super Hybrid DM technology with an impressive driving range of up to 646 miles from a full battery charge and fuel tank.
Its striking Sunset Orange finish ensured it attracted attention throughout the day.

Luxury performance brand YANGWANG also made a major impact with three highly advanced vehicles.
Leading the charge was the extraordinary U9 Xtreme hypercar.
Producing more than 3,000PS, the U9 already holds the production car world speed record, having reached 308.3mph in 2025.
Its sophisticated DiSus-X intelligent body control system also proved its agility during the demanding 1.16-mile Goodwood hill climb.
The luxurious U8L SUV highlighted another side of YANGWANG’s engineering capability, combining premium comfort with advanced technologies including its remarkable Emergency Flotation Mode, designed to allow the vehicle to navigate deep floodwater.
Completing the trio was the elegant U7 luxury saloon, which arrived in Britain after driving all the way from China.
Its DiSus-Z active suspension recovers energy from road movement to recharge the battery while simultaneously improving ride comfort, making it ideally suited to long-distance touring.
