The testing focused on reducing wind noise, road noise and powertrain vibration while optimising overall sound quality. Engineers also worked to eliminate unwanted squeaks and rattles, ensuring the compact cabin delivers a premium and relaxing driving experience.
A wide variety of tyre compounds were also evaluated on rough asphalt, grooved concrete and high-speed test tracks to achieve the ideal balance between reduced rolling resistance for maximum driving range and effective suppression of road noise.
