One year of Italian craftsmanship
BOTTEGAFUORISERIE, the joint bespoke automotive initiative from Alfa Romeo and Maserati, has completed its first year, bringing together Italian craftsmanship, specialist engineering, personalisation and motorsport expertise.
Launched in November 2025, the programme operates across four areas: Bottega, Fuoriserie, La Storia and Corse, covering exclusive vehicle commissions, personalisation, automotive heritage and racing technology.
During its first 12 months, the initiative has presented a series of distinctive vehicles and customer commissions at international automotive events, including the Ultimate Supercar Garage in Paris.
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale takes centre stage
Among the programme’s most notable creations are several individually specified examples of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.
These include a green-finished car inspired by historic Alfa Romeo models, a Rosso Villa d’Este example delivered in Austin, Texas, and the striking Perla Nera, featuring exposed matt carbon-fibre bodywork.
A further 33 Stradale, presented at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, featured a decorative Quadrifoglio-inspired design celebrating the relationship between Italy and France. These commissions demonstrate how customers can work with the programme’s designers and specialists to create individual interpretations of exclusive models.
Maserati brings performance and personalisation
Maserati’s contribution includes the track-focused MCXtrema alongside special Fuoriserie interpretations such as the GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 and MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926.
The programme combines performance engineering with individual design choices, allowing customers to influence the appearance and character of their vehicles.
Preserving Italian motoring heritage
Beyond new vehicles, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE supports the preservation of Alfa Romeo and Maserati heritage through its La Storia activities.
During 2026, the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese marked 50 years since its inauguration, while Alfa Romeo Classiche continued its restoration and certification work.
The programme also supported historic vehicle participation in the 1000 Miglia, connecting the manufacturers’ racing and engineering histories with their present-day activities.
What comes next?
Further developments are planned, including a new Alfa Romeo project previewed at Stellantis Investor Day in May 2026.
Cristiano Fiorio, Maserati General Manager of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE and Chief Marketing Officer, indicated that the initiative would continue developing new exclusive vehicles while strengthening connections with Italian design, art and craftsmanship.
The next phase is expected to build on the collaboration between the two manufacturers, combining their individual identities with shared specialist resources.
